ReplyDeleteThe Fluency, volume, and tone are used very well as the video is a pleasure to listen to without any static or unpleasant noises. The organization of this video is set well, as a clear beginning, middle, and end as the transitions allow the view of clearly different parts of what you guys are dealing with. The transitions are smooth, as one reporter lets the other carry on with the report. Word choice is nice and not confusing. Still, the video lacks in creativity as the interesting and entertaining part was lost to the educational part. But the details are good enough to cover up for them. good job!

The video is overall very creative and entertaining and has very smooth transitions. The tone and word choice helps the viewer grasp the atmosphere of the video and allow the viewer to be entertained very well. Body language is used well and the presentation has a lot of information to pick up. A problem would be the quality of the sound as the music at the beginning makes it difficult to hear what the people are saying.

ReplyDeleteDespite the fact that the volume was low in the beginning of the video, the tone and fluency was smooth. It was especially entertaining to listen to the great choice of music that had been selected for the video. The body language was very well seen, as people were walking around and communicating with body language. The video was very creative because the group used the white board to express themselves. The video was well organized, differentiating the "reality" and the "poetry world" and it also had smooth transitions. The video was overall entertaining and interesting to watch.

The volume and the fluency of the video was great without any disturbing noises in the background. The video was very creative because they took a different approach and really got themselves involved in the character they were representing. The tone was appropriate for the news report/interview that the team performed. The video was well oragnized with a clear beginning (introduction with sangwon as the main news anchor), middle and end. The transitions were also smooth with the main announcer leading the subject smoothly into the interview. Even though not much body language was used, it was appropriate for the "interview." They used simple words and overall did a good job of making the information interesting.
Victor Hernandez Cruz:
ReplyDeleteThe video was creative and entertaining to watch. Fluency and articulation are all right, and the tone sets the proper atmosphere for such a video. Volume could have been better, as the voices were somewhat scratchy and the beginning music disrupted what Elle and Caroline were saying (or its just my bud-less earphones). The transitions and organization are well-executed, and the body language was great. Overall, the presentation was creative, entertaining, informative, and interesting.
Micheal J. Harper:
I have to say that the video was very entertaining. Body language was executed almost perfectly, and the creativity in the video was superb. The music also was a plus to the creativity. Even though the volume was somewhat low in the beginning, it balanced out with the inclusion of the music. Tone and fluency were generally ok and clear.

ReplyDeleteThe video was taken from a really interesting angle, incorporating an interview to explain the poet's background and life story, and to interpret the poet's style. Their transitions were smooth with good audio and video. They were really into their characters (news anchors, interviewers, interviewees), and they acted out a nice beginning, middle and ending. Their body language however was limited because in the case of a news interview, excessive body language would not have been so appropriate. So even though they lacked, it was appropriate to their approach.
Victor Hernandez Cruz
Their video was really creative from my point of view. They took a really interesting approach by providing information through fangirls and their competition to see who knew the most about Cruz. Also, the whole story line that accompanied your idea was very unique and fun. They presented their analysis through the girls asking him about his poems after finally meeting him. The audio and video were good with clear transitions and a nice beginning, middle, and end. Their tone was serious and you could tell that they were very into their characters. Their body language helped with the visual factor and made the video more fun because they were not just standing or sitting.
and I love Milton's mustache.

ReplyDeleteThis group's organization and the fluency was exceptional. The volume was loud and I had no difficulty hearing the message of the video. The unique idea of news incorporated thorough the video made it interesting. Having a news reporter and announcer made the overall video much more organized and easy to understand. This video used good sources to make the video more professional.
Micheal J. Harper:
ReplyDeleteThis group's use of body language and mix of music made the video easy to understand. The volume at the beginning was a bit quiet compared to the rest of the video, but the creative ideas and use of equipment in the classroom was outstanding. The fluency of the video explained to the audience how much time they spent to prepare for the video. The video was clearly organized combined artistic and poetic mix throughout the clip. The visual aspect made the video more interesting and unique
Victor Hernando Cruz:
ReplyDeleteThey had an interesting and creative approach to this project which also made it entertaining. The fangirling and the quick interview helped to reveal details about Cruz's poetry and style as well, along with his background information as well. The volume and tone was great, however the songs sometimes made it difficult to concentrate and impede with the volume. But other than that it was educational as well.
Michael J. Harper:
The video was interesting and creative as they tried to show their interpretation of the poem in a poetic sense. The volume was great and their fluency was fine as they moved from reality to poetic world. Although it is educational, they can elaborate more on the styles and the analysis of the poem than simply trying to act out the poem. It was still funny :)
Victor Hernandez Cruz
ReplyDeleteThe video was well made and had great articulation/ fluency. I also liked how they had transitions telling what to expect on the next slide because i was still unclear about what the poem was about in the beginning of the movie. I also liked how they did the movie from victor's point of view which made the movie interesting. IT was funny and entertaining.

I dont know but sometimes in the movie the actors sounded sarcastic because of the monotone or uninterested way they talked. However the information included in the script educational and i was able to learn a lot. They had a good analysis and explained the style of his idea well. I was able to learn about Barca's childhood and i also liked how they started out the movie as a newws interview.
Victor Hernandez Cruz
ReplyDeleteThe overall fluency and articulation was good, except in some parts the fangirls' voices were too small. I felt that the tone could have been more sincere and serious than with all the laughing and whatnot. The organization of the movie could have been better with smoother flow in the plot. The body language was amusing and got the point across. The word choice was simple, if not too simple, and was very easy to comprehend. Overall, the presentation was extremely creative and entertaining, but I felt it could have been more educational.
Michael J. Harper
The articulation and enunciation was fine, except in some parts there was some background noise that I was not sure whether or not it was part of the movie or not. The actors did not look all that serious, but then again, I don't suppose that the entire movie had to be a documentary. There was strong body language during the scene in the poetry world. It was amusing how the camera shifted from reality to poetry world as a transition. It was creative and had simple diction, but I feel that there could have been more than just a visual interpretation of the poem; maybe a literary analysis? A very entertaining video nonetheless.

ReplyDeleteThe fluency and articulation of every member were great, especially Ryan's, as it seems like he had to memorize a long script and recite if off of the top of his head, while other members might have used their computers for them to read off. The volume was perfect as I was able to catch and understand everything that they were saying. Although I do believe that their project was creative and extremely well thought through because their idea of having a news broadcast allows it to be informative and realistic at the same time. They sounded very professional and they always chose the rights words to say. One thing that they could have improved, however, was the organization from 2:38 to 3:02 as the audio mismatched the video, which made a huge break in the flow of the presentation.
Michael J. Harper
TJ, as the narrator, did a great job in controlling the volume, fluency, articulation and enunciation. Never did he have any problems with his speech and he did a good job reciting the actual poem as well. One thing I really like about this presentation was the body language and how they decided to express the poem through themselves. It was extremely interesting to see how they interpreted the poem and the presentation was organized well.
One thing they could have improved, however, was their decision to include sound effects. The song in the beginning and the sound effect during the transition were slightly unneeded.

ReplyDeletePersonally, I felt the volume and tone were best done. Very good video taking. It really helped me enjoy the video because I didn’t have to deal with any disturbing background sounds. Also, clearly, you guys spent a lot of time on preparing this video because each part is very well defined so that it makes the video easier to follow and grasp. One thing I did have a problem with was how the video didn’t stand out in terms of creativity or originality. However, besides the creativity, the information was good enough so that it didn’t make the video boring or anything.
Victor Hernandez Cruz
Unlike the one above, I felt this one was more creative while its video quality could have been better. It was fun and I really enjoyed watching it. The people in the video all had good body language, tone of voice, and acting which lead to a better entertaining experience. However, though there does seem to be a lot of information to learn from, the quality of the music syncing with voices and other audio aspects of the video could have been done much better.^^
