This week is Banned Book Week. To celebrate the freedom of reading banned books join the celebration on youtube and earn 3-5 points extra credit on your Oedipus Rex Project.
1. Pick a book from the list: http://www.ala.org/ala/issuesadvocacy/banned/frequentlychallenged/challengedclassics/index.cfm
2. Read the criteria for a video: http://www.bannedbooksweek.org/virtualreadout
3. Read an excerpt, videotape it and add it to the youtube channel and get 3 extra points. Make the video more entertaining for 5 points. http://www.youtube.com/bannedbooksweek
